The owner group for Sunny Blu Coffee & Ice Cream includes Eric Robinson, Priscilla Nash, Janalyn Turner.
Sunny Blu
The inspiration for Sunny Blu's name comes from Eric's grandfather and Priscilla's father. Walter Lee (Sonny) Chancellor, Sr. would say "a great cup of coffee, good music and love are key ingredients to being a cornerstone in the family."
Art Academy of Cincinnati
Sunny Blu's first location opened in late March 2019 at Township and Colerain in Camp Washington, and due to the effects of COVID, it closed in 2021. Sunny Blu opened a second location in the Summer of 2020 in the Commons of the Art Academy of Cincinnati and has been serving students and staff from that location to the present. In late summer of 2021, Sunny Blu @ 1212 Jackson opened a walk up window at the end of the Art Academy building close to the intersection of Jackson & 13th St. In the Spring/Summer of 2022, Sunny Blu looks forward to operating its new outdoor seating on Jackson St as well as offering indoor seating at SITE1212 on the 12th St. side of the Art Academy building.
